It goes down easy with a dark, grape-like character and a hint of juniper. Produced in 2022. The Tea Research Foundation of Kenya (TRFK) developed the Purple cultivar (Camellia Sinensis var. Assamica) and planted the first seedlings in 2011. It is called Purple Tea because the bushes grow purple leaves. The cup color also has a purple hue.
