Overview
Bug Bitten Muzha Another bug bitten beauty from our friends in Muzha, this wuyi cultivar oolong is a great example of what a master tea maker can create with Green Leaf Hopper bitten leaves! Clear and fruity candy-sweet notes lay on top of the solid greenish vegetal flavors of this low-mid oxidized Wuyi Oolong. It creates a rare glimpse into what bug bites taste like in a lower oxidized tea, as most bug bitten teas in Taiwan are oxidized longer to creates Honey Black or Eastern Beauty teas. While not the most complex tea we have on the site, it is a smooth, easy to brew crowd pleaser for guests or times when you might need something to brew grandpa style. If you are a fan of the 'Bug Bitten' genre of Taiwanese teas, this is absolutely worth a try!
