Overview
We are so thrilled to be able to bring in this tea in collaboration with our friends at Cured Leaves, who are exclusive purveyors of fine African teas. The tea estates of Malawi are the oldest tea producing regions of Africa and many of the tea plants date as far back as 1890. Malawian Gold showcases beautifully the reason why African teas make good foundational bases for heartier breakfast teas such Irish and Scottish breakfast blends. Robust, nutty, and malty but without any harshness or astringency. When enjoyed in its pure unadulterated state, this tea gives drinkers a satisfying and nostalgic experience that only true classic teas can provide. BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: SCOOP | 3 gm or 1heaping tsp per 8oz waterPOUR | Boiling water over leavesSTEEP | 1.5 min Steeping instructions are a starting point for how to make this tea.
