KCDI is a non-governmental and non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to the care for vulnerable and disadvantaged children and the preservation of Cambodian traditional arts. Their core commitment is the restoration and preservation of traditional Cambodian culture and fine arts, after the terrible destruction of the Khmer Rouge genocide (1975-1979) and civil war (1970 – 2004).
