Overview
Magnolia Orchid Shanlinxi Oolong Powerfully scented with fresh Magnolia x alba flowers, this oolong is full of hints of Magnolia and Orchid blossoms with some fun Wild Ginger Flower spice in the aftertaste. Melded nicely with a thick Shanlinxi Milk Oolong base, it creates a unique and special brew for those that love floral scented teas. Our friend's farm up on Shanlinxi has a few large White Champaca trees on the edges of their tea garden and they use those flowers to scent a limited batch of their spring milk oolong each year. If this proves to be a popular tea, we will certainly visit them this spring to help in the processing of this gorgeously scented tea! **With many English names like White Champaca, White Jade Orchid, White Sandalwood and more, the flower that scents this tea is familiar to all Taiwanese. The flowers are often times found in bunches hanging from the rear view mirrors of taxis in Taipei and are one of the most familiar and sought after flowers of Taiwanese over the age of about 60 or so.
