Genmaicha er en blanding av Japansk grønn te og godt ristet brun ris (Genmai). Risen gir en litt nøtteaktig smak. Den milde smaken av Genmaicha og det lave koffein innhold gjør dette til et ideell ettermiddags te. Ca 30 prosent brun ris, hvor noe poppes i prosessen. En behagelig blanding av litt salt, nøttaktig aroma fra den ristede risen og frisk, rund sødme og litt gressaktig smak fra Sencha. Teen blir lys i koppen. Populær til suchi og kjent for å rense ganen.
