Overview
We're hoping to source a new lot in the future, but there is no guarantee. The steeped leaf has the pleasant aromatics of a Sri Lankan tea factory in action. Full-bodied, full mouthfeel with cooling spices and a dry fruit finish. No milk and sugar necessary, but would cooperate nicely, if desired. This is the real deal. This BOP leaf style tea was produced first week of September 2024 by Mr. J. Jesudasan at the Nayabedda Estate in the Uva region of Sri Lanka. It’s a two leaf, one bud pick from plants growing at 4,700 feet. 54% of the leaf of this tea comes from original seedling plants with the rest coming from cultivated plants including the Nayabedda 3 (NB3) cultivar. Ingredients: black tea Steeping Instructions 3 grams | 10-12 oz water | 212°F | Steep 2 min. Number of Cups 2 oz makes 19 cups, 4 oz makes 38 cups
