He is a young, third-generation grower in the venerable Phoenix Mountain Range of Guangdong, melding a reverence for the centuries-old varietal oolong with a thirst for experimentation. It's his ninth year as head of the farm and already he is receiving acclaim for his work. Honey Orchid is arguably the most beloved of all dan cong ("Single Grove") styles. Instead of the traditional high firing, he opted for a greener variation, further accentuating its beautiful florality.
