Overview
NOTE: Due to the current matcha shortage we are restricting orders to a maximum of 4 units per customer. We want to ensure a fair distribution to our customers. We are working with our suppliers to do what we can to ensure a sustainable supply. We appreciate your understanding. This high-quality, carefully stone-ground, ceremonial matcha from the Ujitawara region in Kyoto is a first flush tea picked in early June. It is a rare, single cultivar, Tenmyou, grown in a single estate tea field at 250 m altitude. As with most matcha teas made from this cultivar, this matcha has a beautiful deep green colour. It has chocolate, malty aroma, cream, rich and balanced flavour with grassy notes ending with a touch of bitterness and an airy, smooth finish. This matcha is best enjoyed the traditional manner whisked in hot water. Choose "Complete Packaging" with information or less expensive "Can Only".
