Tsurukage represents a radical new approach to tea production in Nagasaki—four young farmers from established tea-producing families have come together to collectively produce and sell their tea under a single banner in an attempt to revitalize the market in a region with a rich history. The group has won first place at the National Tea Tasting Exhibition two years in a row—a well earned honor for their exceptional output. We are proud to bring tea of this quality to the Kettl catalog, and heartened to see such potential in a new generation.
