It has a taste that is reminiscent of deep green hearty vegetables like buk choi and zucchini with some astringency and creaminess that makes for a coveted mode of tea. Great for an everyday cup at an affordable price. Prepping Suggestions: For a straight matcha drink, use 1/2 teaspoon of matcha powder per 8 ounces of water. Begin making the drink by blending a small amount of water with the matcha powder. Stir or whip with a match whisk until completely blended. Top off with hot or cold water. For a matcha latte, use double matcha powder and mix together with a small amount of water. Pour over a cup of hot or cold milk and sweeten with honey or sugar to taste.
