Overview
The mountain Ali Shan is famous within Taiwan and amongst tea lovers worldwide. Located in Chiayi on the southern part of the Central Mountain range, the climate and altitude of up to 2300m is ideal for the tea plant to grow slowly and produce tender, flavourful leaves. Temperatures are low and its humid and foggy which makes for perfect conditions and creates teas vivid personality, exotic flavors and aromas. The infusion has a yellow, pale colour and a light orchid aroma. The flavour is lightly sweet, balanced and complex. This tea is a real treat for the oolong lover.
