Overview
The Oolong Collection is a specially curated tasting set designed to showcase the diversity of the oolong category. With one tea from each of the four oolong-producing regions, this collection offers a comprehensive overview of oolong tea to please new and experienced tea drinkers alike. Included in the Oolong Collection are four 1-ounce bags of tea, each representing different regional crafting styles and flavor profiles. Also included is an informational card listing the varietals, regions, and tasting notes, along with an educational video to watch as you brew! The collection is packaged in our iconic silver gift box with a red bow. We periodically update the teas included in the Oolong Collection. The current box includes one ounce each of the following teas: Alishan, Spring - Taiwan's quintessential oolong, Alishan marks the beginning of high elevation teas, with a creamy texture and crisp, vegetal finish with notes of gardenia and sugarcane. Dark Roast Tieguanyin - A traditional Anxi Tieguanyin, oxidized and roasted longer than modern alternatives to create a more mellow texture and rich, toffee-like finish. Xing Ren Xiang (Almond) - The aromatic, nutty flavor of this Phoenix oolong is a natural result of old grove tea trees and skilled crafting. Heritage Golden Buddha - A balanced Wuyi Oolong crafted from the Jin Fo varietal, with notes of burnt caramel, dried fruit, and a complex whiskey-like finish. White tea dish sold separately.
