Our 2022 Loon-Call in the Dark is one of our favorite shou Puer blends to date. A blend of several ambitious small batch shou Puer productions fermented in conjunction with several different shou Puer producers, the results are a full bodied tea akin to a shou Puer version of sweet steamed milk, soothing and rich with inviting texture and layered flavor. This tea has barely settled into itself and we’ve already finished half a cake, which probably says more than any further description as a testament to its intrigue. The Loon-Call in the Dark cake was pressed in 2022. 200g cakes, with 5 cakes in a bamboo tong.
