Overview
Harvested in Autumn 2013 and produced entirely by hand from start to finish using hand kneading and basket roasting. Re-roasted in 2019 and then roasted again October 2023. This tea has a unique character that is mellower than a recently produced roasted Tie Guan Yin. There is a cooling feeling in the mouth and an herbaceous character that reminds me of Grass Jelly ไป่ pudding. There is an underlying sweetness that will become more prominent as the most recent re-roasting taste fades. A totally unique tea experience for lovers of Tie Guan Yin and darker oolongs!
