This lot of tea is almost gone. We're hoping to source a new lot in the future, but there is no guarantee. Available online only. The heat at Dragonwell's core is the tale that never ends. The roast quality is finely sculpted, not charred. Light in body, but the spectrum of green tea characters – grassy, nutty, floral – are all competing for your attention. Vary the steeping and you’ll get different stories. Harvested and produced April 5, 2025 by Mr. Qian Taifeng in Qiandao Lake, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It’s a one bud and one leaf pick from a local cultivar growing at 1,500 feet. The iron wok is the tool that produces the flat leaves of Dragonwell (Chinese: Long Jing). The practitioners of this tool go through years of training where they learn the ten hand techniques and develop the iron palm that becomes conditioned to the heat.
