Overview
The Raw Beauty If Green Tea is "cooked" (steamed) and Black Tea is "burned" (roasted), White Tea is raw. Our Organic White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) is the least processed tea in our entire collection. It consists of one silver bud and two young leaves, which are plucked and simply allowed to wither in the sun. This gentle process preserves the tea in its most natural state. Why It Works Because it isn't exposed to high heat, White Tea retains the highest concentration of antioxidants (catechins) of any tea type. Flavor-wise, it is the "anti-bitter" tea. It offers a soft, velvety mouthfeel with distinct notes of Honeydew Melon and Apricot. It is forgiving, gentle, and incredibly hydrating. The Glass Ritual Watch the dance. White Peony leaves are voluminous and beautiful (green leaves with silver downy hairs). Brew this in a glass pot or mug. As the leaves hydrate, they stand vertically in the water, mimicking the blooming of a peony flower.
