This is a custom-made Gaiwan we ordered from Jingdezhhen. The walls are quite thick, which gives it sturdiness, it won't chip too easily. There is nothing fancy about this, it is perfect for daily brewing. It contains 175ml of water to the lid, which makes it medium sized and suitable for up to 6 people, but can perfectly be used on your own if you're a heavy drinker. You can see through it if you put it against the sun or a bright light. It will last you many years if you don't break the lid!
