Overview
Style: Shou Pu-Erh - Xi Ye Origin: From the Cangyuan area of Yunnan Province, China, this small leaf ripe pu-erh steeps a rich dark colour and offers a full-bodied mushroom-like aroma. Description: Organically grown, the leaves of this Shou pu-erh are a rich, tan-brown color, the cup is strong and dark without any astringency thus making it an excellent choice as an everyday Pu-erh be it at the breakfast table or as a companion to any dessert! Tasting Notes: For those who enjoy a dark and strong Pu-erh, this tea offers plenty of body with a clean, refined taste. Notes of nuttiness and soft, naturally sweet aromas with hints of mushroom will linger on the palate and in the cup. The tea steeps to a deep, rich brown; extended steep times will make it stronger without hints of bitterness. Brewing Instructions: 5g (2 tbsp - approx.) per cup. Use boiling water to rinse briefly, pour off and wait a few minutes and let the leaves "steam." Re-infuse with 100ºC water. Steep 3-5 minutes. Re-steep. Certified Organic
