Overview
Style: Black Origin: Blended at Westholme Ingredients: Keemun, Lapsang Souchong, Liquorice Root Description: A unique blend of two classic teas from China: A Keemun tea from Anhui Province with a natural cinnamon quality, and the robust pine-smoked savoury addition of a Lapsang Souchong from Fujian Province. This combination is rounded with the addition of liquorice root, adding a natural lingering sweetness to a smooth cup. This tea was meant to be enjoyed by the fire during any season - a bonfire on the beach, or near the fireplace at home on a snowy day. It is an excellent tea hot or iced (we suggest the cold-steeping method for iced tea), with or without milk. It is also excellent for experimentation in culinary pursuits. Tasting Notes: Smooth smoke from the Lapsang Souchong fills the cup in both aroma and flavour. This strength has been balanced with a pure Keemun black tea, adding subtle malt and cinnamon notes for a well-rounded steep. The liquorice enhances the finish and linger with gentle natural sweetness. Brewing Instructions: 2g per cup. 100ºC water. steep 3-5 minutes. Organic
