Aperçu
Unlike the ordinary matcha, Ureshino Kamairi Matcha uses kamairicha (pan-roasted green tea) that is ground into fine matcha powder with stone mill. Light, sweet, and roasted taste will be a perfect matcha for usucha (thin tea) or matcha beginners. Flavor notes It has a slightly nutty aroma with medium astringency and strong bitterness. It is difficult to grade this under our standard considerations, so we recommend this for those wanting a sort of espresso version of matcha — something to use in lattes or in baking. Note: We reevaluated this product’s grade on 2025/12/26, downgrading to Premium Culinary Grade due to the bitterness level. Product Info Name: Ureshino Kamairi Matcha Ingredients: Green tea, powdered Note matcha color has been adjusted to matcha as close as possible to actual color on the iPhone screen Net weight: 40 grams Harvest: Spring Region: Ureshino, Saga Prefecture Notes: Instead of steamed, the leaves are pan-roasted, rolled/dried, then ground into powder.
