Classic 1999 "红大益" Red Da Yi Brick. Four bricks in a paper wrapper, individual bricks are not wrapped, nor is there a nei fei (inner ticket) pressed into them. As such, this is a tea that is often faked, and there are many fake versions on the market. Once you taste this you'll understand clearly why it's sought after (and imitated). Kunming dry storage has patiently transformed this tea into something incredibly complex and powerful. It has a thick body, pungent aroma, aged ripe taste, and some betel nut-like aftertaste that is paired with creamy thick pungent taste/feeling. This tea can go many steeps and we recommend boiling the tea in a saucepan for a few minutes after you've brewed it gong fu style. Classic Ripe "Da Yi" Pu-erh Tea, that has been impeccably aged! 250 grams per brick (4 bricks per paper pack, buy 4 to get them in their original packaging) ** Please purchase a sample before purchasing a whole brick. No returns allowed whatsoever!
