Using a blend of teas from all over Asia, it creates a complex blend of sweet, floral and malty notes. The mixture of the delicate addition of blackcurrant softens with otherwise slightly astringent blend, to a sweet, well rounded tea that would compliment Afternoon Tea or Cream Teas on a warm summers day. Type of Tea- Loose blend of Black and Green Orthodox Tea. Origin- Assam and Nilgiri, India, Zhejiang Province, China and Nuwara Eliya, Dimbula and Uva, Ceylon. Ingredents- Black Teas from India and Ceylon, Green Tea from China, Natural flavouring, Cornflowers and Safflowers. Altitude- This tea ranges from 500-8500 feet above sea level. Leaf Grade- Orange Pekoe Gunpowder. Harvest- Mid Season 2015. Useful Information Brewing Guide- using boiling water, brew for 3-5 minutes depending on taste. How to Serve- this tea is best served black to enjoy the deep ripe blackcurrant notes. Tasting Notes- A fresh citrus bouquet with deep ripe blackcurrant overtones. Colour in Cup- A deep copper liquor. Pack sizes available-50g, 125g, 250g, 500g, 1 Kilo. (We pack everything fresh to order, nothing is off the shelf!).
