Pairing: shortbread, fresh fruit, or mild cheeses
Edge of the Badlands is a blend of aged raw Puer maocha that we stored in Menghai under dry conditions before sending it to Fujian to be charcoal roasted by hand in 2024, as well as unroasted aged raw Puer material. The roasted material was rested until pressing in 2025. High-end material and a flexing of our blending muscles, weaving together the roasted raw Puer character and the aged maocha. Pithy fragrances and flavors with a weighty feel. Our personal favorite of the 2025 roasted and smoked Puer teas. Pressed in 2025. Each cake is 200g. The cakes are wrapped in bamboo leaf tongs, with five cakes per tong.
