Grown and processed by the Shimizu family of Suizawa, Mie Prefecture. Konacha itself is made up of the smallest, broken bits of tea leaves (not quite powder) left over after processing (see photo). Because of the small size, it steeps very quickly. Konacha is a tea that can be mixed with hot or cold water as instant tea. You can ingest the entire nutrition of tea leaves. It is also well-suited for cooking and making sweets.
