"Lan Hua Qing" (兰花箐) aka "Orchid Village" is a small village that lies halfway between Binglinqing and Yangta villages southwest from Jinggu town. The altitude of the tea gardens where this was picked is roughly 1750 meters. The trees range in age from 40-200 years old, and grow wild here and there. Although nearby Yangta is primarily Camellia Taliensis, our Lan Hua Qing tea is a pure Assamica tea plucked in the first flush of spring (April). The taste is multi-layered, with plenty of bitter and some astringency on the front-end, but is followed by a cream apricot sweetness and subtle floral/vegetal character. Like any good raw pu-erh, this tea will age gradually into something special. Net Weight: 357 grams per cake (7 cakes per bamboo leaf tong) Harvest time: April 2021 Harvest Area: Lan Hua Qing, Jinggu County, Simao Prefecture Total Production amount: 40 kilograms Wrapper Design by Fayn This tea has been tested in a certified laboratory and has passed the MRL limits for 404 pesticide residues as established by the EU Food and Safety commission.
