Try a small size—about three servings—of our White Peony tea. Click here to order regular retail sizes. This classic white tea is grown in Fujian Province, China, and is known as Bai Mudan, or White Peony. Leaf and bud sets are hand-picked in spring and air-dried; the resulting tea is very lightly oxidized, yet maintains a unique fresh quality. The leaves are voluminous; use a few tablespoons per serving, and prepare with water below boiling to highlight the bright sorrel aroma and refreshing, sweet-crisp flavor—like biting into a just-picked green apple. Try infusing the same leaves multiple times. Despite its delicate texture, white tea can hold up well through several steeps.
