The youngest most tender tea leaves were handpicked and lightly steamed to preserve leaf shape and create a delicate, complex flavor profile. Grown in Fujieda, Shizuoka, by one of the industry's pioneers in organic farming. The tea is packaged in a beautiful Engawa gift can. Steeping Recommendation Tea: 5 grams. Time: 60 seconds. Water: 60C/140F, 200ml. The amounts above are guidelines. Adjust to preference. More leaf or less water creates a more concentrated tea; higher temperature creates a more bitter tea.
