Snow Mist Organic Tea Estate ** The 2025 harvest is in stock and ready to ship! This years harvest is great as usual. The Oolong is particularly good this year. A tea garden like no other, Snow Mist Organic Tea Estate has consistently produced some of the best Taiwanese tea we have ever tasted. We are always excited when our small yearly allotment of tea is ready. Snow Mist has all the characteristics that we long for in tea production. Low impact agrochemical free agriculture, high quality care of the plants following permaculture principles, pristine environment, mentoring programs for other younger tea makers, pride in their work and tea, happy prosperous workers and on and on. The videos and pictures that are available on our Instagram feed of this area speak for themselves. In partnership with this farm we receive a small allotment of tea each year. With full transparency we sell these rare teas into the western market at a cost lower than the domestic market prices. In supporting this garden and giving western tea lovers access to these teas we hope that we can lift the general expectations and understanding of high quality, organic tea outside of Asia. This tea is expensive, but we believe it is worth every penny. The Teas: Black: Rich, sweet and dark fruit. Smooth and soft and almost menthol like aftertaste. White: Rich floral, subtle vegetal, deep sweetness, changing with each steep. Oolong: Clean high elevation grass, smooth floral, creamy aftertaste. How was the 2025 harvest? After a cold winter and very wet winter, the spring weather worked out great as this year's harvest is wonderful. The Oolong really benefitted from the cold winter!
