From 7-time Minister's Award Winning, 15th generation tea farmer Masahiro Okutomi (Okutomi Tea Garden, Sayama, Saitama), a rare handpicked fukamushicha blend. Fukamushi - or deep steaming - was invented to give tea leaves a better flavor profile despite being lower grade leaves. To use it on handpicked leaves is rare as the connoisseur market in Japan general likes the delicacy of light steaming for carefully handpicked leaves.
