2025 First Flush: Spring's Cup of Refreshment We are excited to bring you this year’s first spring Darjeeling leaves from Jungpana Estate. First planted at the turn of the 20th century, the south-facing tea slopes of the Jungpana Estate are located in a remote area in Darjeeling near Kurseong, a misty land of rolling hills at 3,000 to 5,500 feet. From the small Jungpana Estate, this first flush tea displays bold leaves laced with delicate silver tips. This lively golden cup features herbaceous notes of spring flowers, complemented by a refreshing hint of citrus zest and a lingering touch of pineapple sweetness in the crisp finish. Plucking date: March 20, 2025. We have air-freighted this hand-plucked Darjeeling to ensure the freshest cup possible. Regarded as the ultimate tea experience, only limited quantities are available. Enjoy sip by sip. See more Darjeeling Tea » Additional Details Lovers of the leaf, rejoice! The dormancy period is over and the Darjeeling hillsides are radiant with young, fragrant leaves. Rich in flavor, these leaves steep a delicate cup, sure to delight the senses. This artwork titled Rite of Spring was created by artist Suzie Buchholz in oil paint and oil stick. Capturing the light-hearted freshness of early springtime, with its bright foliage in vibrant hues, announcing the arrival of the season. This is the twenty-third in the Darjeeling Art Collectors' Series.
