Mike visited this lovely estate located high above the small town of Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. This area is among the highest areas to grow tea, and the weather is constantly changing. Sometimes sunny, but often cloudy or rainy. This makes for beautiful and lush tea plants. It does not have as distinct a growing season as the areas to the west (Dimbula) or the east (Uva). The teas from this area have a flavor of their own—light citrus notes.
