Nestled in the remote highlands of Northern Thailand, Pu Muen Village is home to the Lahu ethnic community, who uphold a rich tradition of tea cultivation. Surrounded by lush forests, waterfalls, mineral springs and nature trails, this mountainous, forested region is an organic, biodiverse sanctuary for Assam tea trees grown from seeds collected in India and Myanmar during the early 1900s. During the first flush of the harvest, the Lahu people pluck the tender Assam leaves following a one-bud, one-leaf standard. This organic micro-lot offers a malty infusion with notes of raspberry jam and caramelized sugar. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
