Lung Ching Dragonwell is grown in the Zhejiang Province of China and named after the village it originates from. It is known for its great quality and is a highly-prized tea. However, it is very popular and well known and is generally affordable. The tea leaf is pressed flat before being pan-fried prior to drying. This gives it its distinctive elegant shape. The tea has a wonderful green, yellow and gold colour. The brewed aroma is one of delicately honeyed, cut grass with a slight nuttiness that is very refreshing.Health-wise it has all the antioxidants you would expect from a green tea. It is surprisingly high in caffeine which is due to it being a low oxidised tea.
