Overview
Best pick • solid dark choice from Unknown origin
Pairing: shortbread, fresh fruit, or mild cheeses

Mo Lie Shan (aka Shang Mu Lie ) is a mountain area with several villages south of Bingdao in Mengku just to the east of Bingdao Lake (a reservoir section of the Mengku River). Our Mo Lie Shan production is made from 70 to 120 year old trees growing naturally at an altitude of 1800 meters. This first flush of spring tea is very strong with a surprisingly potent cha qi and a nice, cooling mouthfeel. An excellent tea for aging that will surely win the hearts of those who love Mengku tea! Vintage: April 2024 material Quantity: 50 kilograms in total 200 grams per cake Area: Mo Lie Shan, Mengku County, Lincang Prefecture Wrapper Design by Chengyi Lee Wrapper is the same as our 2024 Yunnan Sourcing "Bing Dao Lao Zhai" Raw Pu-erh Tea Cake , but is differentiated by a hand-stamp in gold ink with the characters 磨烈山. This tea has been tested in a certified laboratory for 404 pesticides, and is within the EU MRL limits set for those 404 pesticide residues. For a full list of the 404 pesticides we tested for and more information about MRL testing and the EU Food and Safety commission click on this link .
