This is one of our most popular aged raw Pu-erh teas, loved by experienced Pu-erh drinkers. Made from wild tea leaves picked in the 1990s, it was sun-dried the traditional way to keep its energy (Qi), giving it a slight smoky flavor. It’s been aging in our Vancouver dry storage for most of its time. The tea has a strong wild camphor scent and a cool, minty feel in the mouth. It tastes earthy and woody, like a walk in the forest, with a bold flavor and a bit of smokiness. There’s a touch of bitterness and astringency, but it fades fast, leaving a smooth, comforting aftertaste. Perfect for Pu-erh lovers who appreciate depth and nuance, this tea still has room to mature, promising even greater refinement with time..
