Dissanayagam at the Mattakelle Estate in the Dimbula region of Sri Lanka. It’s a two leaf and a bud pick of the Benifuki cultivar growing at 4,400 feet. The Benifuki cultivar originated in Japan and was brought to Sri Lanka by our friend Haris in 2005 when he was the estate manager of the Mattekelle Estate.
