2013 Aged Shou Mei Loose Leaf White Tea

A very carefully picked Shou Mei white tea that has large robust leaves with tips. The tea was harvested in spring 2013 from the Fuding region of Fujian province. Since that time, the tea has been stored in a dry and clean warehouse and has continued to oxidize while building its unique aged flavour and taste. The tea was moved to Vancouver in 2019. This Shou Mei white tea offers a delightful symphony of flavors. With classic notes of sweet malt, it captivates the palate, while exuding a bright and fruit-like character that adds an invigorating touch to each sip. Tasting Note: While young tippy white teas tend to offer a mellow and smooth mouthfeel, if you desire a stronger, richer, and more complex tea taste, we have a recommendation for you. Consider adding 10-12 grams of both big and small loose leaves, including some power leaf, into a teapot with a capacity of approximately 100ml to 160ml. To extract the full potential of the tea, we suggest using water heated to a temperature range of 95°C (203°F) up to boiling point.
