概要
Tip: start at ~95°C, then adjust down 3–5°C if it turns sharp.

Darjeeling Second Flush Tea is, to say the least, a surprising infusion. While most connoisseurs prefer First Flush Darjeeling Tea for its quality, this particular beverage is an exception to the rule. It is a blend of high-grown Teas from the Indian district of the same name. Every sip offers traditional muscatel flavours with characteristically floral aromas. We create Darjeeling Second Flush, an SFTGFOP1 Tea, using the best of last season’s Estate Teas. Furthermore, and perhaps more importantly, we pack it fresh to order. This is our way of guaranteeing not only quality but also consistency with every cuppa brewed. What more could you want from your new favourite brew? Buy and infuse today! About Darjeeling Second Flush Tea Considered the “Champagne of Tea”, Darjeeling Tea is a choice made by many. The region itself stretches between high mountain ridges and deep valleys, making it often challenging terrain to access. As a result, the Darjeeling district only contributes to 1% of India’s total Tea output. What it lacks in quantity, however, it makes up for in quality. Most famous of all is Darjeeling First Flush Tea, which workers harvest from late-February to mid-April. First Flushes provide a delicate, light, floral and unmistakably refreshing flavour. And then there is Second Flush Darjeeling – just like our Darjeeling Second Flush Tea here. Finally, there is Monsoon Flush, Third Flush and sometimes even Winter Flush. More Facts about this Tea Darjeeling district has produced Tea since the 1830s. A Scotsman, Robert Fortune, who essentially started the local industry? Most Darjeeling Tea comes from Chinese varieties of the plant? What Does “SFTGFOP1” Mean? The term “SFTGFOP1” might sound baffling at first. It stands for “Super (or Special) Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe”, a Tea grade of many remarkable elements. “FOP”, in particular, denotes Tea made from the top bud and the first two leaves of each new shoot. Each also contains young, tender leaves with a balanced amount of ‘tip’ and ‘bud’. “SFTG”, meanwhile, means it has an especially high content of golden tips, and is, as the name suggests, of the finest quality.
