Overview
Best pick • solid dark choice from Yunnan, China
Tip: start at ~95°C, then adjust down 3–5°C if it turns sharp.

Geographically Jiangcheng is located on a river basin where the soil is ideal for tea plantations. The 1997 Jiangcheng Pu-erh tea brick has a very distinct style of taste and aroma, with rich camellia oil content in the tea yields a very fruity and camphor taste. Produced exclusively for Yee On Tea Co. and together with over 2 decades of post-fermentation. This raw tea brick is a true delight for serious tea tasters and collectors. Tea Appearance: liquor deep chestnut red, infused tea leaves are brown with a good balance of thick, broken leaves and branches. 7~9th grade leaves with very little tea dust. Scent: Herbal Taste: The taste is light but pure camphor wood taste typical of the Jiang Cheng area. Gentle Cha Qi, soft and comfortable. Hui Gan, sweet and stimulating. A light orchid taste toward the end.
