Bulang Yun ・ Ripe Pu-erh Sourced from Ancient Tea Trees of Bulang Mountain, Yunnan Bulang Mountain, located in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, is shrouded in mist, blessed with abundant sunlight, and nourished by fertile soil. Here grow centuries-old, even millennia-old, ancient tea trees. With deep roots absorbing the essence of the forest, these trees produce tea leaves with a rich and profound character. Bulang Yun is carefully crafted from handpicked leaves of Bulang Mountain’s ancient trees, using traditional wet-piling fermentation to create a fine ripe Pu-erh. The leaves are tightly twisted, with a glossy, dark-brown sheen. When brewed, the tea yields a deep red, translucent liquor that is as inviting as it is vibrant. On the first sip, a robust woody aroma unfolds, followed by a natural sweetness reminiscent of red dates. The flavors are layered and lingering. The tea is smooth, full-bodied, and mellow, with a rich texture and an enduring throat aftertaste. Even after multiple infusions, the depth and character of Bulang’s ancient trees continue to shine. Bulang Yun is more than a ripe Pu-erh; it is the concentrated spirit of Bulang Mountain itself. Perfect for quiet, reflective moments or sharing with friends, it offers a serene and satisfying journey through the profound essence of ancient trees.
