Heki 碧 is a traditional Japanese color, a strong blue-green, derived from the stone, green jasper. Jasper has been used in jewelry since ancient times and comes in a variety of colors. At first glance, this matcha bowl looks purple, but is a mixture of a variety of colors with blue-green at its base.
