Overview
Try a small size—about three servings—of our Shu Pu-erh Looseleaf tea. Click here to order regular retail sizes. This shu or black pu-erh tea is made from early-picked leaves that undergo a fermentation and aging process unique to the category. Produced in Yunnan Province in 1998 and aging in excellent conditions for the two decades, the flavor is rich, strong and earthy, with a complex, intense aroma; it’s often well-liked by coffee drinkers. To prepare, rinse the leaves briefly with boiling water, then infuse multiple times, tracing the transformation of flavor. This full-bodied brew is a rewarding, all-day drinker.
