Overview
Ye Zhu Shan is a Jinggu area mountain (野猪山 lit. Wild Pig Mountain) east and a bit south of Jinggu town near the village of Wang Jia Zhai (up hill from the Nanyang River). Our production is pressed from first flush of spring tea harvested in April from wild arbor tea trees (roughly 80 to 120 years old). Thick, pungent and viscous with a cooling sensation in the mouth and throat. Very balanced bitter/astringency. Net Weight: 400 grams per cake (7 cakes per bamboo leaf tong) Harvest time: April 2019 Harvest Area: Ye Zhu Mountain, Jinggu County of Simao Prefecture (Yunnan Province) Total Production amount: 140 cakes (50 kilograms) Wrapper Illustration by Giovanni Crispino This tea has been tested in a certified laboratory for 191 pesticides, and is within the EU MRL limits set for those 191 pesticide residues.
