Compare teas

This is an FT Production (广东飞台有限公司) of 22 years aged raw Pu-erh tea from the Yi Wu mountainous area! Initially pressed as cakes and stored in Menghai for several years before being transported to Guangzhou for further storage. Then in 2023 the cakes were broken up and re-packaged into tins. 22 years of aging has given this tea a full and rich taste woody taste with an underlying sweetness. Nice not quite dry Guangdong storage has given this a silky smooth aged character but without too much dank/mold character. A good choice for those seeking a mature aged tea with Guangdong storage character. This is my personal favorite from all the teas in this series! The "#4 Raw" is the sixth release in the FT "Aged Xiao Tai" series. 100 Grams per tin April 28th 2023 is the date on the tin and refers to the date of re-packaging. The tea itself was harvested in 2001!
