Overview
A CNNP production from 1998 blended along the lines of Menghai Tea Factory's classic 7262. Pressed from Menghai harvested tea leaves and also wet-piled in Menghai, then stored in Kunming until now. This is a ripe that is super clean in terms of taste, aroma, and body feeling. Cha Qi super mellow and nurturing. For me, this is a tea drink in the morning first thing on an empty stomach and just let it sink in. I got a 150 gram chunk initially as a sample and just finished the whole 150 grams in no time at all! I personally prefer to brew it in the SAMA flasks (either the MC09 or the MC05 ), using 7 grams and doing a one hour steep. All-in-all an excellent aged ripe with 25+ years of maturation! 357 Grams per cake
