Overview
Xiangming Tea Factory is a medium sized Menghai area tea factory that has been around since the late 1990's. They produce teas from Menghai and Yi Wu, both raw and ripe. This production is purely first flush Yi Wu Mountain area tea. Likely it's a blend of a few different Yi Wu area villages. It was pressed in 2005 and then aged in Guangzhou since then until April 2020 when it was purchased by us. With the 15 years of Guangdong dry aging this tea has developed into something very rounded and soft with a nice honey sweetness. The tea soup is thick and full-bodied with a honey-golden hue. This is a complex, comforting and subtle tea that gradually transforms and shows itself when brewed gong fu style. 357 Grams per cake 2005 Spring Harvest Pressed by the Xiangming Tea Factory of Menghai ** Some wrappers may be bug-bitten with little holes in the paper. There may also be some dust between the wrapper and the cake. Rinse tea once or twice briefly before drinking! If you are squeamish please don't order this tea!
