Origin: MenghaiBrand: TienXiWeight: 250g±Style: Shu Brick (熟普磚) We are pleased to introduce our flagship ripe puer hailing from way back in 1996. This incredible, underrated brick is made from a base material known as huang pian (黄片), which is the more mature leaf that was once a by-product of puer manufacture. These days it is more work to filter out and gather these leaves, so it is a more valuable product. The cake isn't that pretty, with lots of dust, but the tea it produces is AMAZING. It starts out complex and light, then slowly opens up over a course of 10 or more steeps. By the the 5th steep it is finally showing it's dark, rich side, but every steep is a new and exciting adventure in aged puer flavor. Enjoy it all the way through the 30th steep!
