Overview
Sometimes translated as āApricot Kernel Fragranceā, weāve never eaten an apricot pit and therefore canāt attest to whether this is accurate or not. However, this can also be translated as āAlmond Fragranceā, which we find this tea demonstrates nicely. There is a sugar-like sweetness upfront, with a smooth nutty quality that quickly follows. The mouth feel is also excellent, especially for a mid-mountain altitude (>600m) tea. The development is quite nice from brew to brew, with the almond taste becoming more pronounced by the mid steeps. Overall, this is a great performing tea for the price. Please note that the 250g size does not include a tin. $0.43-0.53/gram Varietal: Xingrenxiang/ęä»é¦/Almond Fragrance Region: Wudong Shan, Guangdong Altitude: 600-800m
