Overview
A companion to our Red Label (black tea) and Green Label (raw pu-erh), Silver Label is a pure wild-arbor assamica white tea pressed into convenient 7-gram mini cakes. Harvested in Autumn 2025 from the high slopes of Zhong Cang village, Wu Liang Mountains (≈2300m) and shade-dried in the traditional white-tea manner, this is the same garden we use for our 2024/2025 Wu Liang Mountain raw pu-erh. In hand, each coin shows a handsome mosaic of olive leaf, chestnut leaf, and silvery buds (clearly visible in the photos). In the cup, it brews a clear amber-apricot liquor with orchid-leaning aromatics. Expect a silky, lightly honeyed palate with stone-fruit hints, gentle herbals, and a cooling, lubricating mouthfeel that lingers across 10–15 infusions without harshness. Portable, forgiving, and quietly powerful, perfect for travel brews or measured sessions. Single-garden series: one tea garden, three styles (Silver/Red/Green), so you can taste processing differences on the same material. High-altitude wild arbor: naturally mixed small/large-leaf heritage stand, remote and clean environment. Effortless format: tidy 7g coins; one mini cake = one session. Tea Information Type: White tea (shade-dried) from Camellia sinensis var. assamica Origin: Zhong Cang village, Wu Liang Mountains, Jingdong, Simao (Pu’er) Prefecture Harvest: October 2025 (Autumn) Elevation: ~2300 meters Material: Wild-arbor trees, ~200 years old (naturally mixed leaf sizes) Aroma: Orchid, meadow honey, light dried apricot Taste: Amber honey, pear/stone-fruit, soft herbals; clean mineral line Texture & Energy: Silky, mouth-coating, cooling; steady, calming cha qi Finish: Long, sweet, and clean with returning salivation Brewing Suggestions Gongfu: 1 mini cake (7g) per 100–140 ml; 95–100 °C. Quick rinse, then start at 8–10 seconds, adding time gradually for 10–15 steeps. Grandpa/thermos: 1 coin per 300–400 ml at 90–95 °C; top up as you sip. Tip: A brief, hot flash-rinse helps the coin open evenly. Aging Notes Store in 50–65% RH and 70–90 °F, in an odor-free area, with minimal airflow. With time, the amber sweetness deepens, florals turn honeyed, and the texture gains breadth. In Summary Net weight: 7 g (+/- 1 g) per mini cake Total production: ~100 kg Packaging: Individually wrapped mini cakes with silver-stamped “Yunnan Sourcing” wrappers.
